Image # CE07 View in Gallery.

This is the last image in the Colourflow: Stella series. There will be one more Colourflow series in a few months with a more graphic-design feel; principal photography for that is done but processing is on hold so I don't rush Stella too much in look/feel.

The next series to be shown will be one I'm shooting presently involving water. I'm kind of annoyed that the wind has been so still lately, but I think I can get what I need anyway. Processing it will be fairly simple but I think the results will be lovely, especially printed large. (Of course.)

I'm also wrapping up the planning for a conceptual series called Seven; hopefully, shooting for that will happen over the next couple of weeks.

And between series posts, I've got some other assorted images to finish and share.

Chillax, originally uploaded by dayrain.

Discreating your creations is just another recreation of yours.

If you are wondering what it means, don't. Sounds complicated to me too. The right things in life are always simple.

Just find a moment to stop, spot it and enjoy.

Chill + Relax = Chillax

Chill + Kiss + Relax = Chikilax

That's the things we cut out of our lives for stuff we don't even want and need. Create more of this in yours. Happiness is not that complicated, and it is not far at all. =)

Old also, I'd love to get this one framed and give it to my mother.

My partner is starting to put together a portfolio for photography. My speciality is in graphic design so I have no suggestions for him as far as his portfolio goes and I'd like some suggestions? He's going to be applying for his MFA in Photography and I'm open to anybody who has experience with putting together a portfolio that dazzles. What should go into it? Any specific techniques that should be shown? I've already gotten the idea that only the "best", 20 pieces and 11x14 are good ideas. But what more than that? ANY help is great at this point. Thank you so much!

Probably everyone is sick of seeing these by now... but here are a few of my favorites from last night. Unfortunately, we were downwind, so smoke got into a LOT of the shots... but, it was a fun time anyway.
